Grandma Marianne during her visit to the local photographer, where she talks about her initial strangeness in Austria.

Grandma Marianne was born 1925 in Čonoplja, a small village belonging to Hungary back then. She was part of the German-speaking minority of the «Donauschwaben» (Danube Swabians) in Vojvodina in present-day Serbia. During World War II she fled from her hometown to Austria, where she stills lives.
