Linz, Upper Austria, 25 April 2018. Finally the day of the world premiere of THE EUROPEAN GRANDMA PROJECT has come. The Ursulinensaal in Linz is packed, 350 people are weeping, laughing and cheering – the EGP-team is delighted!

The portraits of the Grandmas of THE EUROPEAN GRANDMA PROJECT can be seen in full length as part of the exhibition ORAL HISTORIES: ALENKA MALY from 25 to 30 April in the kulturtankstelle
in the Upper Austrian Culture Quarter, Dametzstraße 4, 4020 Linz. The official opening will be on 26 April, 6pm.
The films of Alenka Maly (AT), Hadas Neuman (IL), Fleur Nieddu (GB), Anna Ólafsdóttir (IS), Giorgia Polizzi (IT), Berke Soyuer (TR), Desislava Tsoneva (BG), Maria Tzika (GR), Ekaterina Volkova (RU) about their grandmothers, starring also in the documentary THE EUROPEAN GRANDMA PROJECT and additionally the portrait by the filmmaker Nicole Foelsterl (CH) of her grandmother will be presented.
We are proud to announce that the premiere of the film THE EUROPEAN GRANDMA PROJECT will be the opening film of the CROSSING EUROPE film festival in Linz, Upper Austria.
